Years on the tools before there was ever a company name

On the building sites
Christopher, the engineer behind InstaGasWorks, started out as an independent plumber working on building sites, learning the trade hands-on and building a proper working understanding of plumbing and heating systems: the kind you only get from doing the work rather than reading about it.

Alongside British Gas
He went on to work alongside British Gas, adding years of experience across boiler breakdowns, servicing, repairs and installations — on the full range of makes, models and ages of appliance a London home can throw at an engineer.

After years in the industry he set up InstaGasWorks, to run the kind of company he would want to call himself: customers treated with respect, never pressured into unnecessary work, and always given honest advice about what actually needs doing.

- Yes. Alongside homeowner work, InstaGasWorks handles landlord gas safety certificates (CP12), annual servicing, boiler repairs and emergency call-outs across managed and privately let properties. Certificates are issued on the day and emailed to you.
